FUN FACTS
Carnival Splendor's central theme of "splendid things" begins in the Atrium with rich, materials mixed with stainless steel and stylized wood laminates for a striking effect. The celebration of all that is magnificent, lustrous and elegant continues throughout all public spaces.
The area sure to dazzle is the incredible Splendido Lido Pool. Completely redesigned, the central pool deck is an open glass-walled two-decks-high area that can be totally covered by a retractable Sky Dome, making it the ship's largest "indoor" public room.
There are no whirlpools adjacent to the Splendido Lido Pool on Deck 9. Instead they are sensibly located on either side of Deck 10, shaded by the overhead cover and right alongside the outside rail for uninterrupted sea views
Carnival Splendor boasts Carnival's newest features, including Carnival's Seaside Theatre—a 270-square foot LED outdoor screen for viewing movies, concerts, and other events while you lounge in the sun or under the stars.
The multi-tiered Spectacular, Spectacular Show Lounge features fast-paced, high-spirited revues and production shows.
Robusto Grand Bar, an inviting hideaway has vast, yet cozy seating spaces for after-dinner cigars and brandy accompanied by the hot sounds a cool jazz trio.
Book a table for dinner in The Pinnacle, Carnival Splendor's New York style, reservations-required supper club.
El Mojito has the cozy feel of a Havana sidewalk cafe with lanterns and Cuban posters on aged stucco walls and a terracotta floor.
California Roll Sushi Bar, flanked by models of koi goldfish, serves freshly prepared sushi on tile surfaces made of natural mother of pearl shells.
Coffee Cafe, the promenade patisserie, resembles a coffee warehouse with its bar-front "barrels" of coffee, tea, and sugar.
Join the line-up of "beautiful people" in the VIP line at the Red Carpet Dance Club's velvet rope to enter the hottest dance spot aboard.

Spa Carnival offers an expansive 21,000-square foot spa, a fully equipped gymnasium, including two saunas, and a beauty salon. Nearby non-smoking "spa accommodations" are a first for the line.
For sheer serenity, the spa's thallasotherapy pool is a haven "guarded" by Chinese Foo Dogs. Day passes for the thermal sanctuary, which includes the therapy pool as well as the thermal suite and relaxation area are available.

Carnival Splendor features three swimming pools, a children's "splash" water play area, and a 214-foot long twisting waterslide.
