Disney Cruise Line

Cruise Style: Mainstream

A Disney cruise combines the magic of a Walt Disney resort vacation with the romance of a sea voyage. Reminiscent of classic ocean liners, Disney vessels have two stacks and interiors that follow an Art Deco/Art Nouveau theme.  Whimsical accents cleverly incorporate the images of Mickey Mouse and his friends and opportunities are offered for junior cruisers to interact with their favorite “live” Disney characters.

Special Features

A unique dining experience, passengers and their waiters rotate through the three main dining rooms in two assigned seatings. An adults-only restaurant serving Northern Italian cuisine is available for a romantic night out and requires reservations.

Designed to accommodate families, Disney ships have some of the most spacious staterooms at sea and most have a unique bath-and-a-half arrangement and sitting area.

On board entertainment features Disney themes and characters. For adults, there are lounges featuring late-night comedy, music, and dancing but no casino.

Disney’s private Bahamian island, Castaway Cay, is a jewel with its own pier for convenient dockside debarkation. Ashore there are a host of activities dedicated for guests of all ages, including an adults-only beach with massage cabanas.

Your Shipmates

Singles, couples, and families of all ages find Disney Cruises appealing. The young and young at heart are found on Disney sailings.

Junior Cruisers

As you would expect, Disney ships are a floating Never-Never Land with something to pique every child’s imagination. Over 13,000 square feet—nearly an entire deck—is devoted to children’s entertainment centers, outdoor activity areas, and swimming pools. Age appropriate activities are scheduled for ages 3 (toilet training required) and 4; ages 5 to 7; ages 8 and 9; and 10 through 12. Complimentary supervised children's programs and activities are available on the ship from 9:00 a.m. to midnight for children ages 3-12. Subject to availability, group babysitting for children 12-weeks old and up is available for a fee. Teenagers have their own coffee house complete with music, games, a large-screen television, and an Internet Cafe.

Self-service laundries are an added convenience for families, particularly on 7-night cruises.
