Majesty of the Seas
Royal Caribbean International

Built in 1992 -- 73,941 tons -- 2354 passengers (double capacity)

FUN FACTS

High above the sea, Majesty of the Seas’ Viking Crown Lounge offers 360-degree panoramic ocean vistas.

Royal Caribbean’s melodic décor theme sounds a chord on Majesty of the Seas with public rooms named for Broadway musicals or operettas — A Chorus Line, Mikado, Maytime, and Paint Your Wagon.

Stay fit at sea in Majesty of the Seas’ Ship Shape Fitness Center with its full range of exercise equipment and a sauna to relax after a workout.

Teenage passengers have their own Teen Disco on Majesty of the Seas.

Majesty of the Seas’ Schooner Bar features a nautically inspired décor, right down to the unique scent.

Majesty of the Seas contains four miles of corridors, 43 miles of piping, and 805 miles of electrical cable—enough to stretch from Miami to Washington, DC.

There are 150,700 square feet of open deck on the Majesty of the Seas, enough to accommodate three football fields.

The Majesty of the Seas has 710,415 square feet of interior space, approximately ten percent of that of the Pentagon.

Every day 18.5 tons of ice are produced on the Majesty of the Seas—enough to chill 800,000 beverages.

The Majesty of the Seas is approximately 171 feet tall, just about the same height as the Statue of Liberty.

The Windjammer Café on Majesty of the Seas serves as an alternative “casual” dining room in the evening.
