Mercury
Celebrity Cruises

Built in 1997 -- 77,713 tons -- 1870 passengers (double capacity)

FUN FACTS

Mercury features a $3.5 million dollar living art collection with museum quality paintings and sculptures.

In the tradition of a gentleman’s club at sea, hand-rolled cigars and brandy are available in Michael's Club, the Mercury’s smoking lounge.

Mercury’s Cova Café di Milano features specialty coffees and chocolates from Cova of Milan, Italy.

The letter “X” on Mercury’s funnel is the Greek letter for “C” and stands for Chandris, the family who founded Celebrity Cruises.

Noted chef Michel Roux creates all the menus for Mercury’s cuisine.

The two-deck Manhattan Restaurant on Mercury features large windows on three sides for sea views.  In a nighttime transformation, large blinds featuring scenes of Manhattan roll down over the stern windows.

There are 4.5 acres of space on Mercury’s open decks for sunning.

For passengers who cannot resist, Mercury’s fresh-baked pizza can be delivered to your stateroom in an insulated carrier, ala shoreside pizzerias.
