Caribbean Princess
April 3-10, 2004
Live, from Sea
—Notes from the Maiden Voyage
Debarkation

Part Three

Robert & Margarett Downie

Today we said a reluctant farewell to the Caribbean Princess.

Our last couple of days on board were fun-filled and relaxing. The crew has worked hard all week finding and correcting the little problems, and Caribbean Princess is well on its way to becoming ship-shape.

We toasted our new friends last night with a farewell party in our cabin. Everyone agreed that the cruise had come off much better than we might have hoped. There are still a few kinks that need to be worked out. My astute wife put it best when she said that most of the problems would have gone unnoticed except to experienced Princess travelers.

The Caribbean Princess is very well-suited to families and to those who have left the brood at home. You can always find a place that suits you best and gives you the action or privacy you need. Disembarkation was smooth and orderly.

We're headed now to the Caribbean Princess' older sister, the Golden Princess. There's no time for post-cruise depression with another sailaway party in store!
