An unspoiled island paradise, Costa Cruises’ Catalina Island is located just off the coast of the Dominican Republic. Passengers can participate in Costa’s beach “Olympics,” schedule a seaside massage, or just kick back on a chaise lounge or complimentary water float.
Water toy rentals, banana boat rides, and sailing tours are available from independent concessionaires. Local vendors set up souvenir shops offering crafts and tee-shirts. The ships provide the food for a lunch barbeque and tropical beverages at the beach bar.
What to do there: Snorkel, sail, jet ski, water-ski, hike; play volleyball; participate in organized games; massages; shop
