Legend of the Seas
Royal Caribbean International

Built in 1995 -- 70,000 tons -- 1804 passengers (double capacity)

FUN FACTS

Eleven decks above the ocean, Legend of the Seas’ Viking Crown Lounge offers panoramic sea vistas.

Complete with water hazards and sand traps, Legend of the Links is Legend of the Seas’ 18-hole miniature golf course.

Royal Caribbean’s melodic décor theme sounds a chord on Legend of the Seas with the Anchors Aweigh Lounge, Romeo and Juliet Dining Room, and That’s Entertainment Theater.

Stay fit at sea in Legend of the Seas’ Ship Shape Fitness Center with its full range of exercise equipment and a sauna to relax after a workout.

The Crystal Canopy covers one of Legend of the Seas’ swimming pools, creating a solarium with adjacent whirlpool tubs.

Teenage passengers on Legend of the Seas have their own FantaSeas Teen Center with a lounge area and video arcade.

The Observatory on Legend of the Seas is designed for stargazing—from two decks above the bridge, its starwheels rotate to display the location of the constellations.

Legend of the Seas’ Schooner Bar features a nautically inspired décor, right down to the unique scent.

From a seat in Legend of the Seas’ Viking Crown Lounge, you could look the Statue of Liberty in the eye.

Two Eiffel Towers could be built using the steel in the Legend of the Seas.

The Legend of the Seas is twice as wide as Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive and three times as long and twice as high as the “Hollywood” sign.

Two acres of glass canopies, windows, and walls afford panoramic views of the sea from nearly every deck on Legend of the Seas.
