Updated News from the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal at Pier 1

The Port of Philadelphia and Camden has long been hosting cruise ships at our maritime facilities. We are now proud to offer to the public and the cruise industry a facility exclusively dedicated to this trade. Cruises to Bermuda, the Canadian Maritimes, the Eastern Seaboard, and the Caribbean will now embark at the Port of Philadelphia and Camden's Cruise Terminal, located at the Philadelphia Naval Business Center (the former Philadelphia Naval Shipyard). The new facility consists of the former shipyard's Building #3 and Pier 2 East. Building #3 is a renovated historic factory, built in 1874. It offers 41,000 square feet of interior space and a stunning red brick facade that features a high-peaked roof and clerestory windows. The charming and historic terminal provides a true Philadelphia ambiance for cruise passengers.

THINGS START OFF RIGHT WITH FAST AND HASSLE-FREE ACCESS TO THE NEW CRUISE TERMINAL. PHILADELPHIA'S WONDERFUL SIGHTS AND SOUNDS ARE ONLY A HEARTBEAT AWAY.

The Philadelphia Cruise Terminal at Pier 1 in the Philadelphia Naval Business Center is easily accessible via local and interstate highways, as well as, from the Philadelphia International Airport. The airport handles over 20 million passengers per year and provides easy air lift to all major destinations. The Cruise Terminal is ten minutes from the airport via I-95 and is located at the south end of Broad Street at the Delaware River, within the Philadelphia Naval Business Center. From the Cruise Terminal, visitors can travel north on Broad Street to see "the most historic square mile in the United States," which includes the Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross House, Independence Hall and countless other historic buildings and attractions. Penn's Landing, a popular waterfront entertainment and festival site, is located minutes from the Cruise Terminal, as is the Independent SeaPort Museum, which features major exhibits on Philadelphia's maritime heritage.
