9/17/01 - Seabourn Cruise Line offers its deepest sympathy to anyone affected by last week's catastrophes in New York and Washington D.C. While recognizing that there are many who will need to seek their own ways in which to grieve and recover, Seabourn is committed to maintaining the rights of people to travel and learn. We believe that travel is a valuable freedom for individuals and for the cultures of the world at large.

With the safety of our guests, crew and ships uppermost in mind, Seabourn Cruise Line has raised the level of security measures both aboard our ships and in every port of call to the highest levels. We are fortunate in that our intimate ships carry only a limited number of guests, so it is possible to maintain the most stringent controls with only a minimal impact on our guests' enjoyment of their cruise.

All Seabourn cruises will operate according to their published schedules except Seabourn Pride cruise number 1118 and 1119, which will embark and disembark September 21st at Boston instead of New York. Click here for more information.
