Teenage passengers have their own FantaSeas Teen Center with a video arcade and dance club on Sovereign of the Seas.

Sovereign of the Seas’ Schooner Bar features a nautically inspired décor, right down to the unique scent.

First Lady Rosalynn Carter christened Sovereign of the Seas with a huge “sovereign” size bottle of Taittinger champagne.

Sovereign of the Seas contains four miles of corridors, 43 miles of piping, and 805 miles of electrical cable—enough to stretch from Miami to Washington, DC.

There are 150,700 square feet of open deck on the Sovereign of the Seas, enough to accommodate three football fields.

The Sovereign of the Seas has 710,415 square feet of interior space, approximately ten percent of that of the Pentagon.

Every day 18.5 tons of ice are produced on the Sovereign of the Seas—enough to chill 800,000 beverages.

The Sovereign of the Seas is 171 feet tall, just about the same height as the Statue of Liberty.
