Norwegian Cruise Line Reports Accidental Discharge
 of Treated Black Water

MIAMI, May 5 -- Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) confirms that on May 3, 2001, at 17:27 local time, an accidental discharge of treated black water from the M/S Norwegian Sky occurred while the vessel was leaving en route from Juneau to Ketchikan. The vessel was more than three (3) miles from land and traveling at 17.3 knots.

Although the black water was processed through an IMO approved treatment plant, this discharge is in contravention of the Company's published policies. NCL's policies prohibit any discharge of black water unless the vessel is more than three (3) miles outside of any Alaskan water including the Alexander Archipelago.

NCL has notified the United States Coast Guard (USCG) of the incident. The USCG has initiated an investigation and has taken black water samples from the Norwegian Sky today in Ketchikan.

NCL implemented extensive initiatives with respect to environmental protection prior to beginning the Alaska season. These initiatives include extensive crew training, environmental compliance audits by independent consultants, review of existing equipment and operating procedures by environmental experts, and the purchase of additional equipment for treatment of wastewater.

NCL deeply regrets this incident. The Company is cooperating fully with the USCG and is conducting its own investigation to determine the reasons for the incident.

Also, Carnival Spirit will feature the line’s first "Weddings at Sea" program, which allows couples to marry while the vessel is sailing in Canadian waters during the summer Alaska season.

The new 2,124-passenger ship entered service April 29, 2001. These new components complement Carnival’s existing comprehensive wedding program, whose wide variety of convenient and affordable packages is expected to attract nearly 2,200 couples this year.

"The Chapel on the Carnival Spirit combines a traditional wedding atmosphere with the romance of the sea, to create a truly memorable experience for couples who choose to marry aboard this exquisite new ship," said Bob Dickinson, Carnival president.

The Gothic-style facility will serve as the venue for the "Weddings at Sea" program, available only during the Carnival Spirit’s Alaska sailings. Couples will have the opportunity to "tie the knot" as the ship enters and leaves Vancouver, B.C., through an arrangement with Canadian authorities.

The "Welcome Aboard" package costs $1,395 and offers all the amenities of "Just for the Bride & Groom" as well as a reception with one-hour open bar and hot-and-cold hors d’oeuvres, a traditional two-tiered wedding cake and coffee service. Couples may also select the "Deluxe Romance" package for $1,495, which includes a one-and-a-half hour reception and an ice carving, as well as all the features of the other programs.

A wide variety of options such as videography services, live music and tuxedo rental are also available at additional cost.

A shipboard staff member authorized by the Canadian government will perform the ceremonies at sea and wedding licenses will be processed and issued on board at an additional cost.

Carnival Spirit debuted April 29 with a 16-day Panama Canal cruise from Miami to Los Angeles, which will be followed by a three-night voyage from San Francisco to Vancouver departing May 20, a series of week-long Glacier Bay and Glacier Route Alaska cruises throughout the summer, two 12-day Hawaii cruises, and a 14-day Panama Canal sailing from San Diego to Miami departing Oct. 20. BIG BAND AND MEXICAN RIVIERA ADD SIZZLE TO CRYSTAL'S
NEW HOLIDAY FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Luxury Line Revises Christmas and New Year's Cruise To Round-Trip Los
Angeles Route, Adds The Glenn Miller Orchestra, and Offers Up To 40% Savings

LOS ANGELES. May 1, 2001 -- Crystal Cruises is unveiling a new Christmas and New Year's cruise -- adding more convenience, more glamour and more savings. On Dec. 21, 2001, the Six-Star rated Crystal Symphony will offer a new, 14-day warm-weather holiday itinerary through the Mexican Riviera, sailing round-trip from Los Angeles.  Adding more swing and sizzle to the holiday programming and New Year's gala is The Glenn Miller Orchestra, joined by the star of "The Glenn Miller Story," actress June Allyson.  In conjunction with the new program, Crystal is offering savings of up to 40% lower than published fares.

"The 'holidays' can become more about crowds, traffic, and chaos than the magic of the season.   We're offering travelers the ease of a round-trip LA departure on a floating resort to tropical destinations, a stellar entertainment roster and a festive, pampering environment in which they can really revel or just relax," says Adam Leavitt, senior vice president, marketing.

On Dec. 21, the new 14-day itinerary aboard Crystal Symphony will cruise from Los Angeles to San Diego, Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco, Zihuatanejo, Puerto Vallarta, and La Paz, and will return to Los Angeles on Jan. 4. In keeping with Crystal's luxury experience, more than $100,000 worth of seasonal décor such as handcrafted ornaments, ornate sleighs, Old English toy soldiers, and a dozen twinkling Christmas trees will adorn Crystal Symphony.

The Glenn Miller Orchestra, the cruise's headline entertainment and highlight of the New Year's gala, made recording and entertainment history in the '30s and '40s with Tuxedo Junction, Chattanooga Choo-Choo, In the Mood and Moonlight Serenade.  The appeal of these timeless classics and the spirit of Miller continue today under the leadership of award-winning jazz trombonist Larry O'Brien.  In addition to the New Year's party, the 19-piece orchestra will perform sets at teatime, cocktail hour and even deckside for those moonlit serenades. For guests who desire dance partners, additional ballroom dancers - Crystal's Ambassador Hosts - will be aboard.

June Allyson, an actress synonymous with the Golden Age of Hollywood also graces Crystal Symphony's Holiday cruise.  She will offer a compelling insider look at nearly fifty years of entertainment on Broadway, film and television.

Gourmet dining will reflect the season's culinary traditions.  An elegant Christmas dinner, eggnog party, Christmas Day brunch and elaborate Christmas buffet dinner as well as a holiday-themed production show and Santa visits combine for an unforgettable holiday experience.  Clergy will be on board to conduct midnight mass and Protestant services.

In addition to the requisite champagne and party favors to ring in 2002, the festive New Year's gala will feature the swinging Big Band sound of The Glenn Miller Orchestra.

Cruise fares start at $4,495 per person, double occupancy, for the 14-day voyage, a savings of up to 41% off the published brochure fares.  Low singles fares available for only 25% more.

Crystal Symphony's sister ship, Crystal Harmony, will celebrate the holidays with a 14-day Caribbean sailing, round-trip from Ft. Lauderdale. Crystal Cruises' 50,000-ton, 940-guest floating resorts are two of the most spacious and luxurious cruising vessels in the world.  Frette linens, Wedgwood bone china, and Riedel crystal are accentuated by a staff whose training is unequalled in the industry.  Onboard amenities include spacious lounges, convivial bars, full-service fitness facilities, lavish spa, the only Caesars Palace at Sea casino, expansive decks, two pools, exquisitely appointed staterooms and penthouses, many of which boast private verandahs.  For the fifth consecutive year Crystal Cruises was named best large-ship cruise line in the 2000 readers' surveys conducted by Condé Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure magazines.

Crystal Cruises is booked exclusively through professional travel agents. For a complimentary brochure, please call (800) 820-6663. Visit the luxury cruise line's Web site at www.crystalcruises.com.

Radisson Seven Seas Cruises & Celebrity Cruises Join the List of Thirteen Cruise Lines Selected

ORLANDO, FL - April 30, 2001 - AAA, the largest leisure travel agency in North America, today named 24 cruise and tour partners for its 2002-2004 lineup of preferred suppliers that includes two new cruise line partners.

Radisson Seven Seas Cruises and Celebrity Cruises join the list of 13 cruise lines selected.

"We believe that our new lineup of preferred partners allows AAA to continue to offer its 44 million members the best selection of international and domestic cruise options in the industry,'' said AAA Travel Vice President Sandra Hughes. "Each of our partners is committed to providing outstanding customer and travel agency service.''

Hughes said that each of the 81 AAA and Canadian Automobile Association clubs would be thoroughly briefed on the agreements in early May.

AAA is currently negotiating the renewal of the AAA Disney Alliance which includes AAA Vacations operated by the Walt Disney Travel Company and Disney Cruise Line. A separate announcement will be made when these negotiations are completed. A decision on preferred airline partners and their vacation package providers will be made later this year.

AAA's new agreements with its preferred suppliers will enable them to:

-- Provide unique products and services available only to AAA members

-- Offer benefits to AAA members on many products available to the general public, including reduced rates, upgrades, and added value programs.

AAA began its supplier program in 1995 when it reduced the number of preferred relationships from more than 400 vendors to focus on a limited number of quality cruise and tour operators.

"Our international and domestic sales and service have grown significantly since we instituted the preferred supplier program and our partners, AAA clubs and members all have realized the benefits,'' Hughes said.

AAA has more than 1,000 accredited, full-service travel agency offices serving its members and the public in the United States and Canada. AAA travel offices offer worldwide air, cruise and rail packages; hotel and car rental reservations; tour packages; and a variety of travel insurance programs.

Wind Surf cruisers will enjoy a festive Caribbean-style evening beach party with an array of tropical food and drink, and an island steel drum band. The private island also boasts a designated Wild Bird Reserve and West Indies Village with shops, art gallery, straw market, post office, chapel, ice cream shop, bar and food pavilion.

Port calls were planned with Windstar's penchant for cruising off the beaten path in mind. However, the best of the Bahamas and Florida Keys will still be available. For example, guests will be offered an excursion from Salt Cay to the bustling capital of Nassau. Other Bahamian port highlights include a stop at Bimini, the "game fishing capital of the world." The waters off Bimini are teeming with marlin, sailfish, and bluefish tuna, and the scuba diving is world class.

Located in the Abacos, Green Turtle Cay draws on the regions 200 year-old tradition of shipbuilding featuring a New England fishing village atmosphere. Finally, a day in Key West, Florida abounds with the possibilities of fishing,  diving, snorkeling, art galleries, museums, antique shops, beaches, parks, and eco-tours. Key West is rich in historical heritage featuring many famous points of interest such as the Truman Little White House, the Robert Frost Cottage, and the Ernest Hemingway Home.

The mainland Sunday departures and easy air connections make the Bahamas cruise a great choice for honeymooners. With intimate "table for two" dining, couples massage, ocean-view suites, pampering service and sleek sails, Wind Surf promises a highly romantic rendezvous. Magazines such as Bride's, Modern Bride, and Porthole have recognized the Windstar ships as a 'top pick for honeymooners,' 'perfect for couples,' and 'the most romantic vessels afloat.'

An early booking discount up to 45% off the brochure rate is available through Windstar's "A.S.A.P." (Advanced Savings Advantage Program) fares. Prices for the 7-day Bahamas cruise begin at US$2,357 [CDN$3,572] per person, double occupancy and include port charges and taxes. The discount of 45% off the brochure rate of US$4,110 [CDN$6,228] represents a savings of US$1,753 [CDN$2,656] per person. Reasonable airfare add-on rates are available from 32 U.S. and Canadian cities. Hotel rates at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 are also available.

Windstar finished in the top three for small ship cruising in both Travel and Leisure's World's Best Awards and Condé Nast Traveler UK Readers' Choice Awards for 2000, and was recently named to the Condé Nast Traveler 2001 Gold List of "Best Places to Stay in the World." Renaissance Cruises Introduces Affordable
“Stay Connected” Internet Plan on All “R-Class” Vessels

Fort Lauderdale, Florida, April 30, 2001 – Renaissance Cruises announced today the introduction of an unlimited Internet access plan aboard its fleet of R-Class vessels.  The new “Stay Connected” plan offers passengers the option of purchasing unlimited Internet Access at a set price for their entire cruise vacation.

The cost of the usage program is per stateroom based on the passenger’s cruise length.  The current programs being offered are as follows: 10-Day Cruise - $99.99; 12-Day Cruise - $129.99; 15-Day Cruise - $159.99

“The new Internet plan will provide an affordable and convenient way for our guests to stay connected with family and friends through the Internet,” said Charlie Dunwoody, Renaissance Cruises’ Vice President of Sales. “Since the program was first tested last month, the feedback from our past guests has been overwhelmingly positive.  We are pleased to be able to offer such an economical Internet access plan to all our passengers.”

All eight R-Class vessels currently feature Internet Cafés with 24-hour Internet access. Guests can send and receive electronic email in real-time, via a high-speed satellite link.  For an additional charge, passengers may also utilize Renaissance Cruises’ Video Mail.  Every computer terminal in the Café has a video camera and headset attached to the monitors making it simple for passengers to record a 15 second audio/video mail to surprise their loved ones back home.

Renaissance Cruises’ Internet Cafes are managed by Digital Seas International Inc., the cruise industry’s premier information technology concession. A Renaissance Cruises Internet Manager is also available aboard all R-Class ships to assist passengers throughout their cruise.

“Renaissance Cruises’ new Internet plan is ideal,” said Jackie Bernard, a frequent past guest of Renaissance Cruises.  “During my previous vacations on Renaissance Cruises, I loved to send emails to family and friends telling them of the wonderful places that I was visiting.  Now, with the new unlimited usage program, I can send emails and surf the web at a very reasonable cost.”

Renaissance Cruises distinguishes itself from other cruise lines with its extraordinary destinations and Five Star service, on the youngest fleet in the cruise industry.  Renaissance Cruises offers year-round itineraries to the Greek Isles, Tahiti and her Islands, Asia, Africa, Northern Europe and Scandinavia, South America, New Zealand and Australia, the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean on eight brand new 684/698-passenger R-Class ships and two 114-passenger Renaissance-Class ships. CELEBRITY CRUISES WELCOMES NEW INFINITY

Second in Millennium-Class Series Features Conservatory, SS United States
Artifacts

MIAMI - April 28, 2001 - Celebrity Cruises' new Infinity, the newest
addition to the premium cruise line's award-winning fleet, today sails into
San Diego, prior to tomorrow's call on Los Angeles, where the 1,950-guest
Infinity will hold formal inaugural ceremonies.

"Infinity continues Celebrity Cruises' tradition of presenting sleek,
sophisticated ships that provide our guests with extraordinary cruise
vacation experiences," said Celebrity Cruises President Rick Sasso.  "Like
her sister ship, Millennium, which launched last year, Infinity presents a
variety of new and distinctive features."

Among the compelling elements of Celebrity's Infinity is the industry's
first full conservatory at sea, created for Celebrity Cruises by prominent
Paris-based floral designer Emilio Robba.

"The Infinity Conservatory is a secret garden of the seas," said Robba. "It
was designed to emphasize Infinity's magnificent surroundings and to
present nature in a harmonious blend of sea and sky."

Another hallmark of Celebrity's Infinity is an exclusive, historic maritime
treasure.  Accenting the interior of the ship's SS United States specialty
restaurant are actual glass panels from the SS United States cruise ship,
which launched in 1952 and gained fame for clocking the fastest
transatlantic crossing from New York.

The SS United States restaurant is Celebrity's second specialty restaurant
to recapture the atmosphere of its namesake. Celebrity's Millennium, the
first in Celebrity's Millennium-class fleet, features "The Olympic"
restaurant, the design of which stemmed from a rare collection of wood
paneling that once graced the first-class dining room onboard the glamorous R.M.S. Olympic.

"Infinity's SS United States restaurant presents another enticing
alternative dining environment for guests seeking a casually elegant dining
venue," said Sasso.  "Under the direction of world-renowned Master Chef
Michel Roux, the SS United States restaurant reinforces the benchmark we
set with Millennium, in offering the only tableside cooking, carving and
flambé at sea, and a dine-in wine cellar featuring more than 175 labels
from around the world."

Also unique to Infinity's specialty restaurant is Chef Roux's recreation of
an entrée first served in the dining room onboard the original SS United
States cruise ship during the 1950's:  Roast Long Island Duckling a
l'Orange Stuffed with Fruit, one of a host of intriguing selections of
entrees, appetizers, wines and desserts selected exclusively for Infinity's
SS United States restaurant by Chef Roux.

Additional Infinity Highlights

Maintaining Celebrity Cruises' trend setting tradition, Infinity offers a
number of new features and amenities, in addition to the Conservatory and
the SS United States Restaurant:

* Infinity's  25,000-sq.-ft. AquaSpaSM is the first ocean-going spa
operated by the elite Elemis Ltd.  Infinity's AquaSpa will offer Elemis'
"Sensory Heaven" experience, a fusion of exotic Eastern and Western spa
therapies designed to appeal to every sense.
* Infinity offers 80 percent ocean-view staterooms, 74 percent with
verandas.
* Infinity is the second Celebrity ship to run on environmentally
sensitive, quiet and smokeless gas-turbine engines.
* The ship presents the industry's largest penthouse suites, encompassing
nearly 3,000 square feet with veranda.
*  "The Emporium," Infinity's 14,000-square-foot shopping area, offers
elegant and trendy designer labels including Swarovski, H. Stern, Donna
Karan, and La Perla, in addition to shops featuring Michel Roux gourmet
delicacies and Cova Café Milano confections.
* Infinity presents exterior, glass-enclosed elevators, offering guests
captivating, panoramic ocean views as they move from deck to deck.
* The ship presents "Connect@Sea," Celebrity Cruises' first dial-up
Internet service provider to be available in all staterooms and suites for
guests who bring their own computers.
* The vessel features an 18-workstation Internet café,
"Online@CelebrityCruises," accessible to all guests, and flat screen PCs
and printers in all suites.
* Infinity presents a music library, "Notes," offering thousands of
selections of digital recordings and individual listening stations.
* Extensive options for the physically challenged are available onboard
Infinity, with accommodations in a variety of categories, including suites.

In addition to its new public spaces, Infinity also expands upon Celebrity
Cruises' highly acclaimed, fleetwide signature elements, including
museum-quality contemporary art collections, Cova Café Milano, Michael's
Club cigar lounge, and Martini and Champagne Bars serving caviar and other
delicacies.

PACIFIC PRINCESS TO LEAVE PRINCESS FLEET

APRIL 2001 -- It has been announced that effective fall 2002 Pacific Princess will no longer be deployed as part of the Princess fleet. The 640-ton Pacific Princess began sailing as the Sea Venture in 1972 and has been a part of the Princess fleet since 1975. The ship became well known around the world in 1977 when it served as the primary setting for the long-running television series The Love Boat.

Pacific Princess has played an integral role in the growth of this company, and I know that many of us hold a special place in our hearts for this original Love Boat, said Peter Ratcliffe, chief executive officer of P&O Princess Cruises and president of Princess Cruises. However, with our current fleet expansion well under way, we are now able to position larger and more innovative, amenity-filled vessels into markets that were once pioneered by Pacific Princess, offering our passengers a wider range of dining, entertainment and activity options consistent with our commitment to Personal Choice Cruising.

Over the next three years, the Princess fleet will expand to include six additional vessels. Golden Princess, the 109,000-ton sister ship to Grand Princess, will launch next month. Pacific Princess will leave after completing her 2002 Bermuda season.

Princess is part of P&O Princess Cruises plc, one of the largest international cruise companies incorporating some of the industry's strongest brand names: Princess in North America; P&O Cruises and Swan Hellenic in the UK; AIDA and Seetours in Germany and P&O Cruises (Australia). It is a leading provider of premium cruises to Alaska, Europe, the Panama Canal and other Exotic areas, and has a growing presence in the Caribbean.
