Alaska, roundtrip from Seattle

Family of 13. Worst cruise I have been on.
The food was bland with little taste. Not near the standard of other lines. I had two decent meals in 7 days. One was in a specialty restaurant where it was necessary to pay $20.00 extra. I had a very good Filet Mignon, it was the size of a golf ball. All the vegetables are under cooked. The fresh fruit is not ripe. The ice cream comes half melted. In the breakfast buffet you go through a line. Then another line to get your eggs. Then another line to get your bread. Then another line to get your coffee. The bread baked aboard was excellent.
The cabins were clean and had good service. The restaurant service was way below par. The crew is not courteous nor customer service oriented. It is obvious that the supervision of the waiters is poor or non existent. You never get the same waiters and with automatic tipping charged to your room the waiters seem to be indifferent about how you are served, as they get their tips no matter how you are treated. Drinks in the bars were good as was the casino. Late night buffet served in the casino was leftovers and barely edible. I will return to Carnival and Royal Caribbean where you are treated much, much better and the food was always excellent.
I spoke with numerous people aboard. About all the first time cruisers liked it. Experienced cruisers were about 90 % disappointed.
