Disney Cruise Line Celebrates Inaugural West Coast Cruise With Pageantry and Fanfare at the Port of Los Angeles

SAN PEDRO, CA, May 28 -- Disney Cruise Line celebrated its inaugural West Coast cruise to the Mexican Riviera with a festive procession down the Main Channel at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro. Pageantry filled the shoreline, water and sky as the Disney Magic cruise ship sailed for the first time from the Port of Los Angeles, led by the world's most powerful fireboat. Just in time to join in the "Happiest Homecoming on Earth" Disneyland's 50th anniversary celebration, the highly distinctive 2,700-passenger ship's departure on Saturday was the first of 12 consecutive seven-night cruise vacations from the Port of Los Angeles to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas.

Thousands of onlookers, including Disneyland Resort cast members, watched from the shoreline as a flotilla comprised of coast guard cutters, police cruisers, fireboats, tall ships and scores of personal watercraft escorted the Disney Magic down the channel. In the sky, colorful kites swirled around the ship and upon reaching the breakwater, special daytime fireworks were launched, ushering the ship out to sea. This marks the first time a Disney Cruise Line ship has set sail on cruise vacations from a port outside the state of Florida.

"We are thrilled to be here at the Port of Los Angeles for the summer to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Disneyland," said Tom McAlpin, president of Disney Cruise Line. "It was incredible to see so many residents and Disneyland cast members waving to the ship as it made its first departure from the Port of Los Angeles. The support we have received from the local community has been tremendous."

The leading family cruise line is offering guests the opportunity to combine the fun and excitement of the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim with the enchantment of a Disney Cruise Line voyage by booking two-night pre- or post- cruise stays in one of the three world-class hotels of the Disneyland Resort.

"The 50th anniversary of Disneyland marks the first time that all Disney theme parks around the world have joined together in a truly global celebration," said Disneyland Resort president Matt Ouimet. "We're thrilled to have Disney Cruise Line be a part of the magic that began here 50 years ago."

Disney Cruise Line is also premiering a brand new theatrical show aboard the Disney Magic during its repositioning cruise to California. "Twice Charmed: An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story" immerses audiences in a new rendition of the fairytale classic and features a rich musical score with six original compositions and two classic Disney songs. With an accomplished cast, lavish costumes, elaborate set designs and clever special effects, the story brings some of the most beloved Disney characters to life in a stage show sure to please the entire family.

Disney Cruise Line specifically designed its ships with areas and activities that appeal to the unique vacation needs of every member of the family. As a result, its vacations offer guests an unbelievable cruise experience not found anywhere else. Stretching nearly an entire deck of the ship, children's programming spaces feature supervised activities for five age-specific groups of children and teens. Additionally, infants and toddlers are cared for at Flounder's Reef Nursery, allowing parents the opportunity to explore adult areas on their own.

The Walt Disney Theatre provides a magnificent 977-seat showplace of state-of-the-art sound, lighting, staging and set design. The curtain is lifted after the sun drops and original Disney musicals, family-friendly variety acts and first-run films entertain all ages. Adults have more late- night entertainment to choose from than ever before along Beat Street, a nighttime entertainment district - featuring a high-energy dance club, stylish jazz piano bar and traditional sports pub -- reserved exclusively for them.

Novel in its approach and inventive in its execution, the dining experience rotates guests through three different themed restaurants throughout the cruise. Accompanied by their familiar wait staff and tablemates, guests travel from the casual elegance of Lumiere's to the colorful, island-inspired Parrot Cay and Animator's Palate, where Disney animation springs to life throughout their meal. Adults may also opt to dine at Palo, an exquisite restaurant featuring sweeping views and northern Italian cuisine. Unique new dining experiences created specifically for sea days aboard Disney's seven-night cruise vacations include champagne brunch and afternoon high tea for adults, a Disney character breakfast and tea with Wendy for families, plus a casual evening dining alternative at Topsider Buffet.

The ship is scheduled to return to Florida Sept. 3, 2005. Sister-ship Disney Wonder will continue sailing three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas out of Port Canaveral, Fla., and offering land/sea packages with the Walt Disney World Resort. The 877 family-friendly staterooms aboard each Disney ship were designed to offer maximum comfort. Most feature an industry first - a bath-and-a-half with two separate areas; one offering a shower and sink, the other a sink and toilet.

The ceremony, a fund-raising event for Bernardo's, the UK's leading children's charity, celebrated Hollywood glamour as the ship's pool areas was transformed into a re-creation of a movie set with classic movie moments shown on the 300-square-foot "Movies Under the Stars" screen. Guests also enjoyed a gala dinner in the ship's dining room, movie-themed entertainment and a dramatic fireworks display.

MIAMI, May 26, 2005 – Carnival Cruise Lines and the new Presidential Wine Club – the cruise industry’s first affinity group for wine enthusiasts – will host a “Carnival Wine Cruise” aboard the Carnival Liberty in December 2005. The six-day cruise will operate round-trip from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Dec. 4-10, 2005, calling at Freeport, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. The event will be hosted by Carnival President and CEO Bob Dickinson, a noted wine collector and connoisseur who is the namesake behind the Presidential Wine Club.

The inaugural Presidential Wine Club Cruise will feature a number of exclusive events, including gala wine tastings, informative seminars with wine experts, and wine-themed parties. All attendees will also receive a gift bag of wine-related accessories from Wine Spectator magazine.

Activities planned for the six-day voyage include:

  • Opening Reception – Sponsored by Allied Domecq, this event features many fine wines, including Clos du Bois from California, Brancott from New Zealand, Campo Viejo from Spain and Mumm’s Champagne from France.

  • Wine Events – Throughout the cruise, participants will have ample opportunity to do what every wine lover enjoys most: taste fine wines. Two different wine tasting seminars, featuring not just the wines but also the winemakers, will be held.

  • Nightly Food Pairings – Dickinson will personally suggest wines for guests to purchase to accompany their meals in the Golden or Silver dining room.

  • Farewell Reception – Wines from well-respected wineries highlight this event, which will feature presentations by noted wine experts.

Although guests need not be members of the Presidential Wine Club to participate in the cruise, club members will receive more than $200 in free merchandise and discounts, as well as access to several members-only events during the voyage. Among the exclusive members-only events is a seminar hosted by Riedel Crystal, a leading manufacturer of crystal stemware and wine accessories, which will provide insight on the effect that different glasses have on wine and why it is important to use the proper stemware when drinking fine wine. Attendees will receive a free Riedel stemware gift set valued at $120.

Launched earlier this year, the Presidential Wine Club provides members with two bottles of select boutique wines each month from small wineries located in the world’s great wine regions of California, France, Italy, Spain, Chile, Argentina and Australia. The cost is $39.99 per month plus $9.99 shipping and handling. Members also have access to a Web site that serves as an on-line wine information and communication resource featuring interactive message boards and a monthly "Ask Bob" column by the cruise line’s president. Members also qualify for discounts on special wine purchases and wine-related products and accessories sold through the Web site. Presidential Wine Club membership is available by visiting www.presidentialwineclub.com or by calling toll-free 1-888-292-2582.

Currently under construction in Monfalcone, Italy, Carnival Liberty will house an Internet café, four swimming pools, and expansive facilities and supervised activities for children and teens. Sixty percent of Carnival Liberty’s 1,487 staterooms offer either an ocean view or balcony.

Prices for the “Carnival Wine Cruise” begin at $504 per person based on double occupancy. Participants must request fare code CPWC when making the reservation. Members of the Presidential Wine Club will receive a $50 per stateroom discount by requesting fare code CPW2 and providing their wine club membership number. New National Survey Celebrates the Pride of America

MIAMI, May 25, 2005 - What is it about the United States that makes Americans most proud? According to results of a national survey commissioned and released today by NCL America*, they value what is perhaps the most enduring legacy of the nation’s founding fathers: nearly half of all U.S adult respondents said they are most proud of the freedoms granted by the Constitution (44%). Diversity of the American culture (14%) ranked second.

The survey, which also asked specific questions pertaining to admirable Americans and cultural pride, was released to herald the official June 17 debut of Pride of America, the first new U.S.-flagged cruise ship to sail in nearly a half century. The U.S.-flagging enables Pride of America to sail exclusively between U.S. ports of call, and provides guests with the experience of a U.S.-based crew.

According to the survey, Americans are also proud of the people who make up this great nation. Twenty-two percent of those surveyed said they are proud of American military personnel while 21 percent said they are proud of U.S. educators, 16 percent acknowledge U.S. police and fire fighters, and 15 percent salute American parents. As for American culture, survey respondents take the most pride in sports (22%), music (21%) and literature (19%).

“As we approach Memorial Day weekend when we honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, NCL America has paused to take the pulse on what makes Americans most proud and also pay tribute to the rich heritage and culture of the United States,” said Colin Veitch, president and CEO of NCL Corporation. “Pride of America NCL America’s newest masterpiece, has been designed with a theme representing the very best of America, as is appropriate for the first brand new U.S. Pride of America offers a spectacular salute to the diversity of the United States, from its vibrant stars and stripes hull artwork to its New Orleans-style Mardi Gras Cabaret Lounge, Alaskan Gold Rush Saloon, Key West Grill and Napa Wine Bar.”

Representing some of our country’s proudest assets, this ship is a tapestry of Americana, including a Skyline Restaurant inspired by the architecture and skyscrapers of the 1930's; the Liberty Restaurant featuring a Colonial design and paintings of important historic moments; and the Capitol Atrium, modeled after the Capitol Building. Pride of America passengers can also enjoy the Santa Fe Spa and Fitness Center decorated with artifacts and authentic vegetation from New Mexico, the Newbury Street Shopping area inspired by early 1900s New England boutiques, the Washington Library and the ship's Hollywood Theatre. Pride of America also features several firsts for NCL including an onboard tennis court, a new category of Family Suites, the Soho Art Gallery and a Conservatory touting a tropical landscaped garden.

As the first new ocean-going passenger ship in nearly 50 years to sail under the U.S. flag, and the second in the NCL America fleet, Pride of America not only offers guests a cornucopia of American flavor on board, but also the freedom to cruise along America’s most dramatic coastlines and visit Kaua`i, the Big Island of Hawai`i, Maui and O`ahu on unique seven-day inter-island Hawai`i itineraries. Pride of America can visit all four main islands on one week-long itinerary and offer passengers up to 100 hours in port, more than any other cruise line sailing the islands. NCL America’s U.S.-flagged ships also feature an all-American crew and combine the spirit of Aloha with the freedom of Freestyle Cruising and a world of year-round cruising to one of the most remarkable, romantic destinations in the world.

Once in Hawai`i this July, Pride of America will offer three unique itinerary options no other cruise line can deliver. The seven-day cruises from Honolulu will feature a day in Hilo, Hawai’i; two days in Kahului, Maui; a day in Kona, Hawai’i; and two days in Nawiliwili, Kaua’i. The three-day cruise will embark in Honolulu every Saturday and include: one day in Hilo, Hawai’i; and two days in Kahului, Maui disembarking there every Tuesday. The four-day cruise will embark in Kahului, Maui every Tuesday and include: one day in Kona, Hawai’i; two days in Nawiliwili, Kauai; and disembark every Saturday in Honolulu, O`ahu.

NCL Corp. is an innovative cruise company headquartered in Miami, Florida. With a fleet of 14 ships in service and under construction, the corporation oversees the operations of NCL, NCL America and Orient Lines. On July 4, 2004, NCL made U.S. maritime history when it introduced the reflagged Pride of Aloha, the first modern U.S.-flagged cruise ship in nearly 50 years. The 2,002 passenger ship is 100% U.S.-crewed, with most seafarers hailing from Hawai`i. The company is currently building three ships – Pride of America (delivery on June 6, 2005), Norwegian Jewel (delivery in August 2005) and Pride of Hawai`i (delivery in April 2006).

* Harris Interactive conducted an omnibus study for NCL America. The findings are result of a telephone survey conducted among a nationally representative sample of 1,012 adults comprising 509 men and 503 women 18 years of age and older, living in private households in the continental United States. The margin of error for the total sample is plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.

SeaDream Yacht Club Announces 2005 Caribbean Special Savings

The operative word that jumps out at you in this SeaDream Yacht Club news announcement is SAVE--one of the friendliest verbs in the dictionary. Let’s tell you about SeaDream’s definition. SeaDream Yacht Club, operator of the twin ultra-luxury, mega-yachts SeaDream I and II, has introduced a fourth quarter Caribbean Early Booking Special with remarkable savings for voyages from October 15 to December 18, 2005.

This SeaDream Bargain Promotion is in two parts: Sail with Friends and Save and Sail Back-to-Back Voyages and Save. furthermore these two Caribbean savings programs are combinable with the company’s recently announced Caribbean and transatlantic Spa Special in which guests are able to save while enjoying treatments in the renowned and exclusive SeaDream Spa. See what we mean about the word SAVE? What’s the catch? There is none. SeaDream has only limited space available on its twin yachts that will be sailing the Caribbean in the fourth quarter this year.

“By the end of March we had already sold 84 percent of our total 2005 voyage inventory,” says Larry Pimentel, CTC, President and CEO of SeaDream. “That’s remarkable and a good indicator of what a great value we are and how well we are regarded. But we would still like to fill those few remaining staterooms,” he adds.

SeaDream Caribbean savings programs:

  • Sail with Friends and Save--Simply purchase four SeaDream staterooms and receive a fifth stateroom free. Or purchase two to four staterooms on the same voyage and each guest saves 15 percent. Offer is valid for new bookings only and must be received by August 1, 2005. On the fifth free stateroom in this program guests must pay the applicable government fees, handling and service charges. This offer is combinable with all rates available on the SeaDream’s website but not combinable with any other group savings program that may be out in the marketplace. This promotion may be withdrawn or changed at any time.

  • Sail Back to Back Voyages and Save--Sail on two or three consecutive voyages and save 25 percent on the second and third week. Offer is valid for new bookings only and must be received by August 1, 2005. This offer is combinable with all rates available on SeaDream’s website. This promotion may be withdrawn or changed at any time.

The SeaDream Caribbean and transatlantic Spa Special announced previously invites guests on selected voyages to pre-pay US$199 when making the booking to select any four spa treatments from SeaDream’s Spa Menu of eleven different offerings, a savings of up to 45 percent.

So you can see that the verb SAVE is the name of the game.

Deilmann Expands No-Smoking Restrictions on European River & Ocean Ships

NEW YORK, May 20, 2005 – A new, expanded non-smoking policy is now in effect on Peter Deilmann Cruises river ships and ocean liner. The European cruise line, which operates a fleet of nine river vessels and the deluxe ocean liner MS Deutschland, has extended the smoke-free areas on its ships to include all cabins and corridors and continues its no-smoking policy in the restaurants of the river ships. In addition, the line has restricted smoking in the main lounges to designated areas on all the river ships and the Deutschland. Two other new smoke-free areas on the Deutschland are the Emperor's Ballroom and Lido Terrace. The Deutschland continues to have designated areas for smoking in the restaurants.

“Gisa and Hedda Deilmann are instituting this new policy on our ships due to changing attitudes in Europe where some non-smoking restrictions have recently been introduced. Of course, it fits neatly with the evolving preferences of our American guests as well”, said Ron Santangelo, Deilmann’s North America president. “I think our American passengers will be pleased with these changes as they sail with us on the rivers of Europe and around the globe on the Deutschland,” he added.

New Carnival Liberty to Feature Massive 270-Square-Foot Outdoor Television Screen Poolside on Lido Deck
Debuting on Carnival Liberty's New Med Cruises This Summer, 'Carnival's Seaside Theatre' to Feature Movies, Concerts, Sporting Events

MIAMI, May 20 -- One of the largest outdoor television screens ever installed on a cruise ship will be featured on Carnival Cruise Lines' new 110,000-ton Carnival Liberty when it inaugurates the line's Mediterranean cruise program this summer. "Carnival's Seaside Theatre," which will include a 12-foot-high by 22-foot-wide LED (light-emitting diode) screen, will be located poolside on Carnival Liberty's Lido deck and show movies, sporting events, concerts, and various other programming, including the ship's own "Morning Show" hosted by the cruise director.

Manufactured by Belgium-based Barco, a worldwide leader in innovative visual solutions, the massive 270-square-foot screen uses the same technology featured in large stadiums and New York's Times Square and can be seen during both the day and evening hours. In addition to superior picture quality, the state-of-the-art entertainment system includes a 70,000-watt sound system, providing concert quality sound, even outdoors.

"Carnival already offers the widest variety of shipboard activities at sea and the new LED television screen aboard the Carnival Liberty is just another example of the innovative entertainment options available for guests sailing aboard the 'Fun Ships,'" said Bob Dickinson, Carnival president and CEO.

The poolside screen will take center stage during the evenings when feature films, concerts and other programming are showcased while guests relax in oversized lounge chairs and enjoy drink specials, complimentary popcorn, and other typical movie-time fare. "Carnival's Seaside Theatre" will also be utilized for national sporting events featuring various food and drink specials. During Carnival's legendary deck parties, music videos, along with live shots of the band and party guests, will be displayed. Kids' favorite movies and cartoons will also be featured while Play Station 2 units will be connected to the system to provide a "larger than life" video game experience.

The new outdoor LED screen will debut when Carnival Liberty launches the line's first-ever Mediterranean cruise program, which will run from July 20, 2005 through Oct. 12, 2005. The program encompasses a series of eight 12-day departures from Rome (Civitavecchia). Featured ports include Naples, Italy; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Venice, Italy; Messina, Sicily; Barcelona, Spain; Cannes, France; and Livorno, Italy.

Holland America Line Spotlights Antarctica

SEATTLE, May 20 -- The cruise line that brought premium cruising to Antarctica returns for another series of adventures. Three 20-day South America & Antarctica departures showcase the largest wilderness on earth as ms Rotterdam sails through a fantasyland of ancient icebergs, towering mountains, chattering penguins and breaching whales. Antarctic Explorer Holiday cruises are scheduled for departure on December 22 in both 2005 and 2006 and an Antarctic Experience itinerary is slated for January 11, 2006.

"Guests on South America/Antarctica cruises experience the same sense of adventure that thrilled Cook, Scott, Amundsen, Shackleton and other polar explorers," said Richard D. Meadows, CTC, senior vice president, marketing and sales. "But they also enjoy Dutch high tea, beautiful fresh flowers, wi-fi Internet connections, world-class entertainment and every modern comfort. It's the most elegant way to experience the wildest place on earth."

20-day South America & Antarctica cruises The Antarctic experience unfolds as ms Rotterdam sails south of the 60th parallel to the bottom of the world. Rimmed by vast ice shelves, the White Continent reveals soaring 15,000-foot peaks, volcanic calderas, thermal hot springs, teeming wildlife, and remote research stations. Guests sail past Elephant Island where Ernest Shackleton's crew touched land for the first time after their ship, the Endurance, was trapped by ice and destroyed in the Weddell Sea. Scenic cruising also features the penguin colonies on Paulet and Petermann Islands; the volcanic crater of Deception Island; and the ice-choked Errera, Neumayer and LeMaire Channels. Cruising between Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Valparaiso, Chile, guests experience Cape Horn, the Strait of Magellan, the Chilean fjords and port visits in Uruguay, Argentina, and Tierra del Fuego.

Extreme Ecology
On a recent Holland America Line Antarctica sailing, travel writer Hugh A. Mulligan described the extremes to which the company goes to protect Antarctica's delicate environment. "The ship's fog horn did not bellow out the noon hour. No bells clanged the crew watches. Smoking was banned on deck and no meals were served outdoors, lest paper napkins blow overboard. Tennis and volleyball courts were roped off, though a dozen brave souls swam in the heated outdoor pool," he wrote. "The environmental officer prowled the ship, making sure deck chairs and blankets were tied down, reminding passengers not to feed passing penguins or seals or throw garbage overboard."

Cruise fares for the 20-day Antarctic Explorer cruise start at USD $3,469 per person, based on double occupancy. For a brochure and more information, consult a professional travel agent, call 877-SAIL-HAL (877-724-5425) or visit www.hollandamerica.com

California, Here We Come! Disney Cruise Line Sets Sail
 for the West Coast

CELEBRATION, Fla., May 14 -- For the first time ever, the Disney Magic is packing its pixie dust and setting sail on a 14-night cruise that will take guests through the Panama Canal to Southern California, where Disney Cruise Line will offer 12 seven-night voyages this summer in honor of the 50th anniversary of Disneyland. The ship will depart on Saturdays from the Port of Los Angeles on seven- night Mexican Riviera voyages to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas. A special waterfront celebration is planned as part of the inaugural voyage of the Disney Magic out of San Pedro on Saturday, May 28.

"We're thrilled to celebrate Disneyland's 50th anniversary by taking the Disney Magic to the West Coast for the first time," said Disney Cruise Line President Tom McAlpin. "Not only does it allow us the opportunity to provide a special and memorable experience for our guests as part of the 50th celebration, but we're also able to showcase Disney Cruise Line to a whole new audience on the West Coast."

The Disney Magic will travel 4,997 nautical miles on its 14-night repositioning voyage and will visit Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, as well as Curacao, Acapulco, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas before arriving at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro. More than 50 percent of guests aboard this first-ever Trans-Canal voyage are repeat guests who have sailed with Disney Cruise Line before. "Once people have experienced a Disney cruise, they often can't wait to return," McAlpin said. "We offer a vacation that truly provides something for every member of the family, from incredible onboard children's activities to an adults-only pool to Broadway-style stage shows featuring the beloved Disney characters, which our guests love."

As part of the Trans-Canal voyage, Disney Cruise Line is premiering a brand new theatrical show aboard the Disney Magic.

Adults have more late- night entertainment to choose from than ever before along Beat Street, a nighttime entertainment district -- featuring a high-energy dance club, stylish jazz piano bar and traditional sports pub -- reserved exclusively for them.

The 877 family-friendly staterooms aboard each Disney ship were designed to offer maximum comfort. Most feature an industry first -- a bath-and-a-half with two separate areas; one offering a shower and sink, the other a sink and toilet.

The ship is scheduled to return to Florida Sept. 3, 2005. Sister-ship Disney Wonder will continue sailing three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas out of Port Canaveral, Fla., and offering land/sea packages with the Walt Disney World Resort. "Because consumers can experience a broad range of destinations in a single voyage, cruising is fast becoming one of the most popular ways to see Europe -- and with the high dollar-to-euro ratio, one of the most affordable, as well," said Bob Dickinson, Carnival president and CEO. "Our efforts at expanding our 'Fun Ship' itinerary choices include having an ongoing presence in Europe and we're delighted that the Carnival Liberty will return to the region with even more exciting Mediterranean voyages next year," he added.

Exciting Mediterranean Itineraries
Carnival Liberty's seven-port, 12-day Mediterranean cruises feature some of the most charming and historic cities throughout Italy, Spain, France and Croatia, and offer opportunities for guests to tour the region's most popular destinations, including Capri, Taormina, Monte Carlo, Florence and Pisa, just to name a few. More than 80 different shore excursions, including guided museum tours and day-long trips to centuries-old cities and landmarks, will also be offered. The two-day call in Venice is particularly noteworthy, providing guests an opportunity to dine in the city's many outstanding restaurants, view stunning architecture, and tour magnificent museums, cathedrals and other landmarks. A variety of pre- and post-cruise hotel packages will be available in conjunction with these voyages.

Value-Packed Transatlantic Voyages
Immediately preceding and following its 2006 Mediterranean cruises, Carnival Liberty will operate two transatlantic cruises - a 14-day cruise departing Fort Lauderdale April 23 and arriving Rome (Civitavecchia) May 7, 2006, and a 16-day sailing departing Rome (Civitavecchia) Nov. 3, and arriving Fort Lauderdale Nov. 19, 2006. The 14-day transatlantic cruise features four port calls including St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles; Funchal (Madeira), Portugal; Malaga, Spain; and Livorno, Italy. Featured ports on the 16-day voyage include Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca and Malaga, Spain; Funchal (Madeira), Portugal; and St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles.

Signature 'Fun Ship' Amenities
The fourth in Carnival's Conquest-class, Carnival Liberty will offer a wide range of "resort-style" amenities and facilities - four restaurants, including twin two-level main dining rooms, an expansive Lido eatery and a reservations-only supper club - as well as 22 lounges and bars with dramatic interiors that celebrate great artisan works. Carnival Liberty will also house four swimming pools, an Internet café, a jogging track, an on-board duty-free shopping mall, a 13,300-square-foot health club, and a 4,200-square-foot children's play area, part of the top-rated "Camp Carnival" program. An 1,800-square-foot teen club/game room will also be included, along with a comprehensive golf program featuring top courses in Italy, France and Spain.
Of the ship's 1,487 staterooms, 60 percent will offer either an ocean view or balcony - perfect for scenic European cruising.

Carnival will begin accepting reservations for Carnival Liberty's 2006 Mediterranean and transatlantic cruises on May 25, 2005. Prices for the Mediterranean cruises begin at $1,299 per person; the 14-day transatlantic voyage departing Apr. 23, 2006 starts at $799 per person; and the 16-day transatlantic voyage departing Nov. 3 begins at $1199 per person. Guests Are the Stars of New ‘Carnival Legends’ Revue

MIAMI – For those who have dreamed of performing with a live band dressed as Elvis, James Brown, or Madonna – or any number of music superstars – as the audience goes wild, Carnival Cruise Lines can make those dreams a reality. During the new “Carnival Legends” show, which recently debuted on the Imagination, guests don authentic, highly detailed costumes of their favorite singer and perform one of the artist’s signature tunes in the elegant 1,100-seat Dynasty Show Lounge, backed by a talented 10-piece orchestra and full complement of dancers.

“Carnival Legends” is open to all guests regardless of their level of vocal talent and guests can select from such stars as Gloria Estefan, Britney Spears, or several other pop, rock, and country music artists. After rehearsing with the Imagination’s band and production show dancers, it’s “showtime” as the would-be stars take the stage and strut their stuff – in full costume, of course – to a packed audience. Elaborate sets, state-of-the-art lighting and dazzling special effects complete the scene.

“This is unlike anything that’s ever been done on a cruise ship. While just about every cruise ship has a guest talent show, this takes the concept to an entirely new level, making guests the featured performers in our legendary Las Vegas-style revues,” said Roger Blum, Carnival’s vice president of cruise programming and the producer of the line’s production shows. He noted that “Carnival Legends” is such a hit on the Imagination, the show will be featured on other Carnival ships operating cruises of seven days or longer in the near future.

The new “Carnival Legends” show is just one of several new entertainment options at Carnival.

Also new is a “Welcome Aboard” show that is designed to provide guests with a fun, interactive way to begin their “Fun Ship” cruise and get acquainted with the shipboard entertainers. Hosted by the cruise director, the high-energy show encourages audience participation with fast-paced musical numbers, setting a festive mood for the remainder of the voyage. The show is currently on five ships and will be introduced fleetwide later this year.

Also new is “Once In My Lifetime,” an “up close and personal look” at the wide-ranging musical influences of Christopher Alan Graves, an extremely accomplished performer whose appearances in Carnival’s production shows over the years has made him an audience favorite.

Debuting on Carnival Liberty this summer, “Once In My Lifetime” is a musical journey through Graves’ life, with songs culled from his various experiences. For example, “Nussun Dorma,” made famous by Luciano Pavarotti, is a nod to Graves’ Italian heritage, while standards from Broadway musicals “Guys and Dolls” and “Phantom of the Opera” reflect his early musical influences. There are also several Caribbean numbers inspired by his years performing aboard Carnival ships.

Another new show is “Glory Days,” which recently debuted on Carnival Glory. The hour-long show features classic tunes from the 1950s and 60s, with costumes appropriate to each era. Staged in an alternative venue to the main show lounge, the more intimate space encourages audience participation and interaction with the performers. An adaptation of “Glory Days” is expected to be included in the entertainment line-up when the new Carnival Liberty debuts from Europe this summer.

These new revues complement Carnival’s 35 different Vegas-style production shows presented fleetwide. In addition, each Carnival ship offers a variety of live music options, including rock, big band, calypso and jazz, at different venues throughout the vessel, while the ever-popular “Midnight Special” features some of the entertainment industry’s top comedians. New Ports & Itineraries Highlight Star Clipper's 2006 Season

MIAMI -- New 10- and 11-night sailings from Cannes to Dubrovnik, Croatia, and debut calls at the ports of Kotor, Montenegro, and Palermos Bay, Albania, will highlight the itineraries of two Star Clippers vessels next summer. In 2006 Royal Clipper, the flagship of the fleet, and Star Clipper will sail a series of western Mediterranean voyages including the new ports of call, and Star Flyer will sail throughout the eastern Mediterranean on complementary itineraries. Come spring and winter, the ships set sail to the azure waters of the Caribbean and dazzling harbors of the Far East.

"Every year we like to enhance our sailings by changing the itineraries and adding new ports," said Jack Chatham, vice president of sales and marketing for Star Clippers. "The calls in Albania and Montenegro and small, seldom-visited Croatian ports are sure to appeal to our first-time and repeat passengers. When we introduced the Croatian Coast cruises last year, they were extremely popular. The rich history and cultural offerings make this virtually untouched paradise perfect for Royal Clipper and its guests."

Star Clipper: maiden calls and new itineraries
Passengers seeking to immerse themselves in the culture and history of the Mediterranean will relish in Star Clipper's new 10- and 11-night sailings between Cannes and Dubrovnik. Calling at ports in France, Italy, Greece and Croatia, the new cruising itinerary also includes maiden calls at Kotor and Palermos Bay. Two 10-night sailings between Cannes and Lisbon call at seven ports in Spain, Portugal, Morocco and France, including a call at trendy St. Tropez. The seven-night western Mediterranean cruises sail round-trip Cannes and call at ports throughout France, Corsica and Italy, including the popular Monte Carlo and the less-visited Elba, Italy, where Napoleon Bonaparte was exiled.

During the spring and winter, Star Clipper will ply the waters of the Caribbean sailing two different seven-night round-trip St. Maarten itineraries. The ship will island hop to a variety of Caribbean favorites, including Dominica, Nevis, Tortola, St. Kitts and Guadeloupe. On April 15, the ship will set sail for the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta where it will participate in the friendly competitions for the ninth consecutive year.

Royal Clipper: Croatian Coast and Italian treasures
Also including maiden calls in Montenegro and Albania, Royal Clipper will sail 10- and 11-night cruises between Civitavecchia (Rome) and Venice, Italy. Visiting destinations throughout Greece, Italy and Croatia, olive groves and hilltop villages wait to be explored in these sun-drenched destinations. During seven-night, round-trip Civitavecchia cruises, Royal Clipper will visit the best Italy has to offer, including an evening sail past the famous -- and still active -- Stromboli volcano.

Winter and spring call Royal Clipper back to the Caribbean where the ship will sail two different seven-night, round-trip Barbados itineraries. Island calls include Grenada, St. Kitts, Dominica, Antigua, Iles de Saintes and St. Lucia.

Star Flyer: Asian jewels and white-washed landscapes
Exotic ports reign supreme when Star Flyer sails to the hidden corners of the Orient on two different seven-night round-trip Phuket, Thailand, voyages. Traveling along the pristine west coast of Thailand, which has fully recovered from the December 2004 tsunami, the ship calls at little ports and islands dotting the Andaman Sea, including Penang, Ko Hong, Ko Khai Nok and Hin Daeng. The Northern Route also includes a call at Langkawi, Malaysia. Seven-, 10- and 11-night sailings between Phuket and Singapore highlight the Far East season with calls throughout Malaysia and Thailand.

Two epic 37-night ocean crossings to Egypt, Oman, India and Sri Lanka take Star Flyer through the Suez Canal between the Far East and Mediterranean, where it will spend the summer and fall months visiting the breathtaking beaches and warm waters of Greece and Turkey. The ship will sail seven-night round-trip Athens cruises as well as seven-night cruises between Athens and Istanbul, calling at favorite ports such as Mykonos, Patmos, Rhodes, Santorini and Hydra, Greece, and Kusadasi and Bodrum, Turkey.

Reservation lines will be open for bookings for the new cruise program June 1, 2005. The brochure detailing the mid-2006/mid-2007 sailing season for the Star Clippers fleet will be available this July.

Star Clippers combines the pampered luxury of mega-yacht cruising with the exhilarating thrill of sailing aboard an authentic clipper ship. Guests rediscover what sailing was like during the glorious age of the tall ships while visiting intimate ports of call untouched by larger cruise ships. The four- and five-masted clipper ships feature a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. Passengers dress in resort-casual attire and dine in one unhurried, open seating. Whether unwinding in the bowsprit net while gazing at the sea below or climbing the mast for a panoramic view of the horizon, a unique sailing adventure awaits. For more information or to make a reservation, contact a travel professional, call Star Clippers at 1-800-442-0551 or visit www.starclippers.com. To request a brochure, call 1-800-442-0556.

Holland America Line Introduces The Culinary Arts Center, Presented by Food & Wine Magazine

Holland America Line, in a multi-year partnership with Food & Wine magazine, is launching an exciting new on-board culinary program that will provide guests on select Holland America Line cruises the opportunity to experience demonstrations and seminars conducted by top chefs, wine experts and leading cookbook authors provided by Food & Wine.

These selected sailings, which begin Fall 2005, are part of a broader Culinary Arts Center program which is offered on every sailing and serves as one of the marquee features of Holland America Line's $225 million Signature of Excellence program. An innovative theater-style venue, each Culinary Arts Center features a state-of-the-art show kitchen, large plasma video screens, and a large cooking display counter, where guests can learn how to prepare a variety of culinary treats. These Culinary Arts Centers are on half of the line's 13-ship fleet and will be in place across the fleet by mid-2006.

The Culinary Arts Center, presented by Food & Wine magazine, brings the pages of the epicurean magazine alive on dozens of sailings of the world's leading premium cruise line. "Guests will learn from and mingle with the world's most renowned culinary authorities in this extraordinary partnership between Holland America Line and Food & Wine magazine," said Rick Meadows, CTC, Holland America Line's senior vice president, marketing and sales. Guests will learn tricks-of-the-trade from top professionals and can try their hand at preparing dishes and tasting wines representative of the specific ports-of-call. Other opportunities might include book signings, question and answer sessions, market tours in ports of call, specially designed on-board menus and more.

Among the chefs who will be sailing as part of the program is Michelle Bernstein, who will sail on Holland America Line's ms Statendam to Alaska on Sept. 9, 2005. The Art of Cruising: Multi-million Art Collections Enliven the High Seas

NEW YORK -- Attention art lovers: You don't have to go to New York's newly refurbished Metropolitan Museum of Art or Paris' storied Louvre to enjoy some of the world's finest art. Rather, a quick tour aboard any one of the today's cruise ships illustrates that the art world is alive and well on the High Seas.

In addition to exotic ports, onboard entertainment and enrichment lectures, cruise lines offer vacationers an impressive variety of artwork in all its myriad forms. The ships of the 19 lines comprising the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) are resplendent with extensive and eclectic art collections - with some valued as much as $100 million.

"From Pop Art and fanciful architecture to Murano glass sculptures and original paintings by Masters such as Renoir and van Gogh, many CLIA ships serve as virtual floating art galleries, offering cruisers a taste of some of the best art in the world," said Terry L. Dale, president and CEO of CLIA - the cruise industry's chief marketing organization and North America's largest travel industry association based on agency membership.

CLIA cruise lines with Italian heritage, such as Costa Cruise Lines, MSC Cruises and Silversea Cruises, boast murals and sculptures by Italian artisans, providing passengers with a distinct ambiance reflective of the country. Norway's proud seafaring history is showcased on board the ships of Seabourn and Norwegian Coastal Voyages. And in the case of Holland America Line and Cunard Line, guests will catch a glimpse into venerable liners from the heyday of transatlantic travel. Following are snapshots of what travelers can expect to see from the art world on CLIA-member lines.

CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES
The line commissions artists to reflect distinct onboard themes. Carnival Liberty, set to launch this summer, will feature the work commissioned to enhance the theme of great artisans and their work. The collection includes pieces by Israeli artist Calman Shemi, who created a series of large, colorful murals that feature depictions of ironworkers, glass blowers, jewelry makers, and sculptors practicing their crafts. Carnival Glory artwork offers interpretations of the onboard "color" theme. Carnival Valor art complements a "hero" theme while Carnival Conquest interiors pay homage to Impressionist and post-Impressionist painters.

CELEBRITY CRUISES
The line continues its tradition of presenting permanent seagoing collections aboard its fleet. Its notable collection is curated by the prestigious Marlborough Gallery in New York and gallerists Tom Cugliani and Tara K. Reddi. Having for 10 years been a gallerist to young emerging artists in New York City, Cugliani brings to the Celebrity fleet a keen understanding of current trends within the contemporary art world. For her part, Reddi's broad experience in the art world includes a career at Sotheby's in New York and London for more than 13 years.

COSTA CRUISES
Art, in all its forms, has always played a major role on Costa ships. In addition to representing an important part of the history of Italian passenger navigation, the Costa fleet has been a showcase for Italy's most modern art and architecture schools for more than 50 years. In fact, the line has always focused on the architectural, decorative and design aspects of its ships, taking full advantage of the talent and innovative spirit of prestigious architects and famous artists, including Campigli, Cerri, Luzzati, Pomodoro, Tadini, and Zoncada.

CUNARD LINE
The art collection on board Queen Mary 2 is valued at approximately $5 million with 128 artists from 16 different countries. In all, the ship features 565 original, commissioned works of art, 1909 works of graphic art and 3,500 limited edition prints in staterooms. A formidable element of the ship's art collection is a 1,200-square-foot, bronze sculptural relief in the lobby, a trompe l'oeuil delicately painted on the ceiling of the Winter Garden lounge as well as a 300-square-foot tapestry that serves as the focal point in the three-story Britannia Restaurant.

HOLLAND AMERICA LINE
HAL ships are appointed in millions of dollars worth of antiques and old master artworks. In the case of Amsterdam, a $2 million collection of art and artifacts boasts such special pieces as an Astrolabe in its three-deck central atrium, which features a carillon in its base and four different faces: an astrolabe, world clock, planetary clock and astrological clock; the gold-plated "Four Seasons" sculptures originally created for Nieuw Amsterdam of 1938; and life-size bronzes of two brown bears fishing, created by British sculptor Susanna Holt, at the Lido pool.

MSC CRUISES
The line's MSC Opera and MSC Lirica both feature works of art by world-renowned Italian artist Raimondo Briata. A painter for 20 years, he has exhibited both in the U.S. and in Italy. His works are influenced by his experiences of living and studying in Africa, Europe and the U.S. Briata uses handmade papers from all over the world, which he places into his work through a lengthy layering process. Glazes and aging techniques are employed in an effort to depict the passage of time and the accumulation of experiences.

NORWEGIAN COASTAL VOYAGES (NCV)
The art on board NCV ships reflect Norway's seagoing tradition, and its ships are veritable floating galleries that showcase Norwegian paintings, sculptures, and textiles. interior of the MS Finnmarken is decorated in Art Nouveau style, while the MS Midnatlsol and the MS Trollfjord are modern in design with extensive use of Norwegian wood, stone, and large expanses of glass. The line serves as a combination of first-class cruise ship, working ship carrying local passengers and cargo between ports, a lifeline to remote coastal towns and villages, and a major tourist attraction.

NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE (NCL)
Aboard Norwegian Dawn, a single restaurant features four original works valued whose value is, for all intents and purposes, priceless. NCL is displaying a collection of original oil paintings by such 20th Century masters Renoir, Matisse, van Gogh and Monet in its signature Le Bistro restaurant. Elsewhere on the ship guests will enjoy a collection of original Pop Art, featuring original signed works by Andy Warhol. The artwork onboard Norwegian Dawn is on loan from the collection of Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, chairman of Star Cruises, NCL's parent.

ROYAL CARIBBEAN INTERNATIONAL (RCCL)
Ships feature art collections ranging from $5 million to $10 million in value. Overall, RCCL's 19 ships feature more than $100 million in artwork. In the case of Voyager-class collections, 6,000 pieces by internationally renowned artists are on display. Notable pieces include a 12-foot-high cedar totem pole carved for the ship by famous Native American artist Nathan Jackson aboard Radiance of the Seas, and a soaring sculpture in Mariner of the Seas' Centrum by American artist Larry Kirkland called "Planispheres," depicting 19th-century star maps popular in the Victorian age.

SILVERSEA CRUISES
Silversea Cruises is placing an artistic emphasis on its Italian heritage and has added a new level of décor with the introduction of Italian Factory artwork aboard its four ultra-luxury ships. The first installation, aboard Silver Wind, features the works of such celebrated contemporary Italian artists as Marco Petrus, Federico Lombardo, Paolo Fiorentino and Alfredo Rapetti. The line is also adding pieces by acclaimed Italian realist sculptor Francesco Messina, whose bust of Giacomo Puccini graces La Scala Opera House. His work can also be found at Saint Peter's Basilica.

SEABOURN CRUISE LINE
Suites, stairways and companionways aboard The Yachts of Seabourn are brightened by fanciful, light-hearted original artworks by a number of Norwegian artists. The prints and paintings vary in subject matter from Norse legends and myths to land- and seascapes, but all reflect the Norwegian affection for their homeland and their heritage. The lobbies and spa entryways of all three ultra-luxury ships - Seabourn Pride, Seabourn Spirit and Seabourn Legend - also boast 360-degree, hand-painted murals, added by a team of artists in 2002. Stockholm to Welcome Five New Lines in 2005

STOCKHOLM -- The 2005 cruise season that began Sunday, May 8, with the arrival of Majestic International Cruises' Ocean Majesty, will bring a record number of new cruise lines and inaugural port calls to the Ports of Stockholm. Attesting to the Swedish capital's increasing popularity as a cruise destination, this summer Stockholm will welcome for the first time Seetours' Aida Cara, P&O Cruises' Arcadia, Pullman Tour's Blue Dream, Iles du Ponant's Le Levant, and Thomson Cruises' Thomson Celebration. The Stockholm Cruising Capital network also reports that Princess Cruises' newbuild Star Princess will call during its inaugural season.

The Stockholm Cruising Capital network anticipates an estimated 270,000 passengers from 260 cruise ship calls -- up from 208 last year (a 20 percent rise) -- of which 28 are turnaround calls. Overall, that represents a 22 percent increase over the number of passengers served in 2004, which totaled 210,000.

"The rising popularity of Baltic cruises is just one of the many reasons Stockholm's cruising numbers have hit a record high," said Christel Wiman, chief executive officer for the Ports of Stockholm. "We also have a variety of port facilities to accommodate almost any ship. But the biggest draw is the city's natural beauty, its rich culture and history, and its endless array of activities for visitors."

With 28 turnaround calls this season, more cruise passengers will have time to explore Stockholm before or after their cruise. Whether the activity of choice is a lunchtime ferry through the archipelago of 24,000 islands, a stroll through Gamla Stan, or Old Town, a visit to one of Stockholm's many museums or shopping for fine crystal or Scandinavian design products, there is plenty to do and see.

On land, guests stay upwards of three nights in first-class hotels in Oslo, Norway’s 1,000-year-old capital, and Bergen, a UNESCO World Heritage site, transported between the two on the scenic Oslo-Bergen train journey, named one of the “Top 20 Rail Experiences in the World.” Popular sights include Bergen’s Hanseatic wharf Bryggen, the Fish Market, the Troldhaugen home of composer Edvard Grieg, the Bergen Aquarium and Old Bergen and, in Oslo, hundreds of outdoor sculptures, the 700-year-old Akershus Castle and Fortress, the Viking Ship Museum, Nobel Peace Center and architecture ranging from medieval to postmodern.

Princess & Cunard Sales Forces Combined

SANTA CLARITA, CA - The sales teams for Princess Cruises and Cunard Line have been combined, with all regional sales managers now selling both brands throughout the U.S. and Canada. The consolidation broadens the distribution support for Cunard, effectively quadrupling the size and reach of the previous Cunard sales team.

"This consolidation, combined with the introduction of new reservations and CRM systems, will enable us to provide much greater support to our travel agent partners," said Jan Swartz, senior vice president for customer service and sales. "The newly combined team is excited to support such a unique brand, one that has captured the imagination and hearts of so many around the world. And now agents will have a much greater opportunity to learn about the Cunard product, and benefit from the sales and marketing expertise our sales staff can provide."

This integration follows the successful merger of the sales organizations in the UK, Australia and the rest of the world. The sales team will be led by two veteran Princess and Cunard sales executives. The current sales heads for both brands will take on new responsibilities as Lee Robinson becomes the Vice President of Field Sales, and Jim Baer is named Vice President of National Account Sales for the new, combined organization.
"The Cunard brand, with its hallmarks of luxury, history and adventure, has great potential to expand its reach to a larger travel agency base," said Swartz. "The combination of sales forces expands the number of experts that can train travel agents about the Cunard product, which is unique in our industry."

The consolidated sales force is divided into four regions, each overseen by a current regional sales director. Stephanie Brennan continues oversight for the western region, Geraldine Ree remains responsible for Canada and the Midwest, and Mike Revnes will lead the southeast region. The position in the northeast is being filled following the retirement of long-time RSD Tom Brown.

The vessel, currently referred to as hull S.670, will have a capacity of 2,384 lower berths and be a sister to Norwegian Jewel, which is scheduled for delivery in August of this year. Total contract price, including Owner’s Supply, is €391 million (approximately $510 million at today’s exchange rate). The new order follows an order announced in December last year with the same yard for an identical ship to be delivered in February 2007, and becomes the fifth ship now in the pipeline for introduction to the NCL fleet during the next 28 months. This new order will be the 10th big new ship to join the NLC fleet since the fleet modernization began in late 1999. Commenting on the order, Star Cruises chairman Tan Sri K T Lim said: “This order builds upon the tremendous commercial success of our Norwegian Star and Norwegian Dawn, and continues our strong relationship with the Meyer shipyard. Our investment in the NCL fleet modernization is now close to $4 billion since 2000, which demonstrates the commitment and confidence we have in our strategy.”

Colin Veitch, NCL’s President and CEO, said: “We are as pleased as can be to announce Number 10. The modernization of NCL’s fleet has now gained full momentum and we are well on the way to our goal of having the youngest fleet in the industry. Princess Leads in Gulf of Alaska Cruises in 2006

SANTA CLARITA, CA, May 2, 2005 - Two of Princess' newest state-of-the-art vessels, Diamond Princess and Sapphire Princess, will join Coral Princess and Island Princess for the 2006 Gulf of Alaska cruise and cruisetours season. With the deployment of these ships on the Vancouver/Whittier itinerary, Princess' will again offer more seven-night Gulf of Alaska cruises than any other line. The four ships will sail on 71 voyages, and each of these cruises can be combined with one of 20 Alaska land tour options for a complete land and sea cruisetour. All Gulf of Alaska cruisetours feature Alaska's most sought-after natural attractions - Glacier Bay National Park, College Fjord and two nights at Denali National Park - and many offer Princess' exclusive Direct to the Wilderness train service, the most convenient way for passengers to travel to Princess' two Denali-area wilderness lodges.

"By dedicating our newest and most amenity-filled ships to our Gulf of Alaska route, we're really reaffirming our commitment to this fantastic itinerary," said Charlie Ball, president of Princess Tours. "These vessels represent the youngest and most innovative fleet sailing the Gulf of Alaska, and are perfect for enjoying the stunning scenery of Glacier Bay, the 16 glaciers of College Fjord and the incredible Inside Passage. And only Princess offers these two attractions plus at least two nights in the Denali area on every cruisetour; another example of how we strive to offer our customers the Alaska they want to see."

Voyage of the Glaciers
Princess' signature "Voyage of the Glaciers" itinerary travels between Vancouver and Whittier with calls offering passengers the opportunity to explore Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan, plus cruising through the spectacular scenery of College Fjord, the Inside Passage and Alaska's number one attraction, Glacier Bay National Park. The 2006 season runs between May 13 and September 18, with 2,670-passenger sister ships Diamond Princess and Sapphire Princess sailing on 35 cruises with alternating Saturday departures. Returning 1,970-passenger sister ships Coral Princess and Island Princess will set sail 36 times, departing on Mondays for either a northbound or southbound cruise. Between them, these amenity-laden vessels offer nearly 2,100 standard balcony cabins and 750 mini-suites, perfect for enjoying the stunning scenery throughout the cruise.

Cruisetour Options
All Gulf of Alaska cruises can be combined with one of 20 land tours in Alaska or two tour options in the Canadian Rockies. Passengers can choose from three- to eight-night land packages to create a comprehensive 10- to 15-night land/sea vacation.
Not only do all Princess Alaska tours offer at least two nights in the Denali National Park area, but passengers can travel directly to their Princess lodge from the ship with Princess' exclusive Direct to the Wilderness rail service. This industry first debuted this year and has trains waiting right at the Whittier cruise ship dock to offer passengers the only same day luxury rail service between the ship and Denali Park. Guests have the option of choosing to arrive at either of the two Denali-area Princess wilderness lodges, ensuring that they enjoy more time among the wilderness and wildlife they came to see.
Princess' Alaska cruisetours include accommodation at five of the state's most luxurious properties, with scenic riverside settings in some of the "Great Land's" most desirable wilderness locations. The recently expanded Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge and Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge house Denali-area visitors, while the company's Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge and Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge are set, respectively, among the dramatic beauty of the Kenai Peninsula and Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve. The Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge also offers quality accommodations in the heart of Alaska's interior with views of the Chena River.
Passengers can also choose from two deluxe escorted cruisetours through the Canadian Rockies featuring stays in several of the area's top quality hotels and featuring the services of a professional tour director.

Gulf of Alaska cruises and cruisetours for 2006 are available for reservations on April 29, 2005, with special early-booking fares beginning at $649 for a seven-day voyage, and $1,399 for cruisetours.
