The Newsletter for Cruise Travelers

November 15, 2001

Welcome aboard Cruise Diva's SEA VIEWS newsletter and thank you for subscribing. SEA VIEWS is a brand new twice-a-month email publication containing the latest news afloat and the cruise travel information you want.

Royal Caribbean International's newest vessel, Adventure of the Seas, made her United States debut last week. Before her naming ceremony in New York City, where she sailed with approximately 2,000 police and firemen's family members on a special two-night tribute cruise, she called on Boston. Barry Cunningham was on board there and shares this view of the flag-decked Royal Promenade (photo-left). For Barry's review and extensive photo tour, visit Skyscraper Tours

Did you miss the Adventure of the Seas' arrival in New York last Saturday? Catch the shots George Hall shared with at NYC Welcomes Adventure of the Seas!

Speaking of new ships... Would you like to attend the first-ever DUAL cruise ship christening? When bottles of Nicolas Feuillatte champagne simultaneously burst against the bows of Norwegian Cruise Line's two new vessels—Norwegian Sun and Norwegian Star—Cruise Diva will be there in Miami and you can join in the festivities as well. NCL has announced that the ceremonies will be available online via LIVE WEBCAST this coming Saturday, November 17th. Check this week's Cruise News on for details and watch next week for my reports about the christening highlights and ship details!
